The Greater Overseer is a term that refers to the most powerful Overseer in Xyrinfe.

History

Zeroth Greater Overseer

Nothing is known about them.

At some point, they created the Keepers of Xyr.

First Greater Overseer

Very little is known about him, but he was malevolent and killed millennia ago.

Second Greater Overseer

After the death of Jastrimo at her hands, Gwyneth took over as the far-more-benevolent Greater Overseer.

Information

It appears that when a Greater Overseer is killed by an Overseer, their killer absorbs the Greater Overseer's power(s), replacing them as the new Greater Overseer. The former Greater Overseer will essentially be treated as a normal Overseer and end up in Túlvilág, unable to leave its boundaries.

Duties

It is not currently known what duties a Greater Overseer has. It can, however, be assumed that they choose their own duties, as Jastrimo never helped Xyrinfe, whereas Gwyneth does so actively.
